ᐅ Experiences with rimless toilets (e.g., Villeroy & Boch, Duravit, etc.)

Hello,
Over the past few years, I have been renovating a granny flat in my house and am now at the stage of selecting products for the bathroom. (It is a small bathroom with only 4sqm (43 sqft).)
At first, I was leaning towards a rimless toilet from Villeroy & Boch (Subway 3.0), including a matching vanity cabinet from the same series. The concealed cistern is from Geberit. I already have the shower, and the faucets and mixer for the shower will probably be Hansgrohe.
However, I have recently come across several online reviews criticizing the Subway 3.0 from Villeroy & Boch. Allegedly, it does not flush thoroughly; a lot tends to remain, and repeated flushing is often necessary. Splashing and complicated water volume adjustments on the cistern, just to get it to function reasonably well, were also frequently mentioned.
A plumber friend said, based on his experience, Duravit toilets rarely have issues, but of course, that is just one opinion.
Therefore, my question is: Are there people here who have long-term experience with rimless toilets from current product ranges and could share their feedback? If there are also good experiences with washbasins / mirrored cabinets, those would be welcome too, although due to space constraints, they may only be 50/55 or 60cm (20/22 or 24 inches) wide.
Regards,
Andre

Singelküche4 Jan 2024 18:46Test Review Vigour 🙂
I visited the largest store in Germany, which is just around the corner from me, and the cocoa there always tastes great.
Being financially constrained, I immediately told the advisor I wanted the three cheapest options.
I noticed the rimless design by chance and thought, okay, three times.
The washbasins are also Vigour – three of them – and one broke after nine months; the lamp just kept blinking.
However, I would describe the quality of the washbasins as good; if water splashes on them, it’s not a problem.
They are available in all sizes.
In my case, only Vigour is marked from the toilet; according to Google, it looks like Clivia. I’m too lazy to look up the invoice.
The day before yesterday, I called the plumber about the dual-flush. As usual, he had no time and sent me a video showing how the water amount can be increased by 1.5 liters (0.4 gallons).
I tested this with cigarette butts.
It’s better, but whether it’s completely okay, I can’t say—I didn’t have enough test material with me.
