ᐅ Experiences with Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) from Different Manufacturers?

Hello everyone,

I have the following situation. In my new build, the facade was insulated with mineral wool. Now I realize that the adhesive mortar used is suitable for mineral wool but comes from a different manufacturer. I have read up on it, and usually all components should come from the same manufacturer or system and not be mixed.

Does anyone have experience with this?

What options are available now?

Thanks for your input

Where there is no complainant, there is no judge. I have already mentioned that, personally, this "problem" wouldn't bother me much.

Where there is no problem, there is nothing to complain about.
The builder here has a minor issue, in that the manufacturer is no longer covered by the warranty (and the contractor steps in instead) – usually, but not always, the manufacturer would be the more financially stable party, making the claim more valuable. However, anyone who opts for a "site manager" instead of a construction supervisor can proactively avoid this risk.
It is unlikely that a building authority would make a big fuss: a demolition would already be challenged at the threat stage due to disproportionality, and in the very unlikely main proceedings, an expert could demonstrate that under the microscope it is virtually the exact same material, just with a different order number (ultimately, it would be an extremely costly case for the building authority to pursue this slap).
