We are in the process of replacing the old sanitary installations and want to install a walk-in "Bettefloor shower," either as a Bette tray or a channel drain. In a household with three girls, there is quite a lot of hair in the drain, so we want to use a drain strainer. I’m just wondering if such a product even exists for this type of shower?

What options are there within Bette products for a "strainer" that catches the hair my wife loses while showering?

Is there a solution available, or any alternative suggestions?

Best regards

The company Bette offers a consultation service by phone on their website; just give them a call. I am sure you will find a suitable solution to catch hair in the drain area.

I can reassure you here, as I inquired with them directly. They provided us with a small strainer that is hung inside the drain pipe before bathing or showering.

We also use it in the kitchen, since the drain often gets clogged with food waste. Now, thanks to the strainer, that problem is over.

Very good, and I will need to use this in our shower as well. I have the same problem as Pinie12. This way, I can avoid making a call and just install a filter like this right away.

Thank you for the information. We also have something similar from Bette. With three women in the house, a lot of hair accumulates. So I will order a strainer from them. I hope it arrives soon.
