Hello everyone,

We would like to install our washing machine elevated by about 60 cm (24 inches). However, the wastewater connection is only about 80 cm (31 inches) above the finished floor level. According to the washing machine’s manual, the drain should be between 60 and 100 cm (24 and 39 inches) high. If the washing machine is raised by 60 cm (24 inches), the drain would, in my understanding, need to be at least 120 cm (47 inches) high.

How could this be solved? Opening the wall to raise the drain is not really a practical option. There must be other possibilities, right? We would appreciate any tips.

Best regards

However, I would lose almost 10cm (4 inches) in depth then.
I would estimate a maximum of 70mm (3 inches). A 50mm (2 inch) pipe right next to the wall.
