No, the dishwashers now come with an armored hose instead of the AquaLook, pressure-resistant up to 60 bar. AEG offers extension sets WR Flex in 1 and 2 meter (3 and 6 feet) lengths. You can buy these easily from regular retailers; they include hose extensions for both the supply and drain lines.
According to AEG, these have been tested and come with a full warranty.

Hello zetterberg,

A braided hose? Aren't those the ones typically used for heating systems? According to the Electrolux spare parts page, this is the original hose:

It looks like a standard 3/4" hose with an Aquastop element, but of course, the question is whether all of this is accurate. Everything from Electrolux seems a bit confusing to me.

No idea what is used in heating system construction. The pressures involved there don’t need to withstand 60 bar, but the materials must be more temperature-resistant. Your picture shows an inlet for AquaLook systems.

To be honest:
No matter how good the Skinande dishwasher might be, if neither the exclusive dealer nor the manufacturer can or will provide the commonly needed built-in accessories, I would avoid this appliance!

Choose a unit from the BSH Group; there are plenty of threads with recommendations for dishwashers that fit Metod kitchens. On the manufacturer's website, you can also find Aquastop water inlet hose extensions with their order numbers.

Or just go with Miele right away. They also had people on the phone who really knew their appliances. And it’s not that much more expensive.
