Hello,
can someone tell me the dimensions a built-in microwave needs to have to fit into the designated cabinet?
We want to get one but don't necessarily want to choose one of the IKEA models.
I have seen that other manufacturers offer them in all sorts of sizes. What is the “IKEA standard size” here? That way, we can search directly for that...
Thanks!

VÄRMD only has a simple wave pattern, so it’s not as fast or efficient as 3D wave patterns. It also only has an automatic defrost function, no jet defrost. Jet defrost is a kind of patented whirlpool technology that thaws food 7 times faster than conventional microwaves. VÄRMD also doesn’t have a recessed turntable.
HUSHÅLLA and Framtid MW3 have the features I mentioned above.
SMAKRIK uses a Delonghi inlet, which is definitely quality and durable, but it’s not a fully automatic model. The milk frother takes some getting used to—not because of operation or quality, but simply because of the space it requires.
