Hello everyone,
Lately, every morning the windows in our apartment are extremely damp (almost wet), and the indoor humidity is noticeably too high. This has been the case even throughout the summer.
With the colder weather outside, mold has started to appear and is becoming more visible day by day. Currently, the mold is forming only under and around the windows, and I believe it’s on the west side of the building.
We have only been living in the apartment since April, so I can’t say how it was before. We have already talked to the landlord about it, and he said there were no previous problems.
My question is, what could be causing such high humidity in the apartment?
Also, this is a multi-family house, and the exterior façade was recently repainted. Could it be related to the paint somehow preventing moisture from escaping?
