hi
We have cracks in the prefabricated garage during the warranty period. The company is coming to inspect and repair the damage. Should I hire an expert to document the damage, in case the cracks reappear in the future?

Logically, if the front part of the foundation settles, it will just be slightly lower at the front. But since it only rests on two points anyway, that shouldn’t really matter. Besides, I don’t see any signs of settlement. I would notice that at the transition to the driveway paving.

Not necessarily; the DIN standards – as well as case law – even allow dimensional tolerances for these.

So cracks are significant defects to me, aren’t they?
