Hello,

I just inspected the shell of my house. I noticed cracks in the bricks and took some photos.

My question is: do bricks with cracks need to be replaced?

No way! You are building with individual bricks anyway. One of them has now been split into two halves.

This is completely normal; I don’t think I’ve ever seen a shell construction where it was different.

Just to clarify right away: black bricks are normal too. They occur during firing and are nothing to worry about.
