ᐅ Cozy lounge area in the living room

I wanted to get rid of my dining room and build a nice coffee lounge instead. Something comfortable with leather armchairs and a fully automatic coffee machine. What do you think of the idea?

Well, I couldn't just get rid of my dining room, as I often eat there with relatives and friends. But if I could, I wouldn’t install a coffee corner there either, since I don’t drink coffee :p

Yes, okay – you really need to like coffee to do something like this. I actually rarely use my dining room; I always eat in the kitchen or at the living room table.

I think the idea is great and I would like to do it too, but it's just too expensive for me. A fully automatic coffee machine easily costs around 1000€ (about 1100 USD), and for me, it's not worth it. I can just go to a nice café and have a coffee there, which I enjoy more.

And that's exactly what I always find annoying. You always have to go to a café just to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. I don’t feel like going somewhere else all the time, and the good cafés are always crowded.

Yes, I hate that too. Overcrowded cafés are just not acceptable. It’s really frustrating when you want to enjoy a coffee in peace, so a quiet spot like that is perfect.
