Hello,
I have to say, I’m really overwhelmed by the complexity of heating systems. Apparently, each type comes in about 30 different models.
Could someone provide an example overview of the costs involved and which heat pump would be suitable for a 125 m² (1,346 sq ft) single-family house if I want to plan a heat pump with ground collectors from Vaillant?
geoTHERM VWS 63/3? And what exactly is covered by the 4000 euro subsidy?
Can anyone recommend an affordable company in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW)?

I would never use the integrated water storage—always go external. Costs, maintenance, and volume are better that way. I’m installing a 400-liter (105-gallon) tank here...

What advantages does the new FlexoTherm have compared to the old GeoTherm? We are planning to install an air-to-water heat pump; so far, the GeoTherm with the hot water storage tank has been under consideration.
I haven’t found any comparisons or similar information yet...

As I said, nothing revolutionary, but if I know there is something new that has been up-to-date for 4–5 years, why shouldn’t I choose it?

The geoTherm model has been discontinued for a few days now – only remaining stock is available. The new Vaillant model is called FlexoTherm, and it already has some (minor) improvements, which is why I waited.
Drilling costs range from 6,000 to 12,000 euros depending on the provider and ground conditions. The heating system itself costs about 8,000 euros, and insurance for the drilling is around 300 euros. There is a subsidy of 4,000 euros available for surface collectors.
As mentioned before: choosing a heating system without a heating load calculation does not make sense.Interesting, does the FlexoTherm need to be on the BAFA list to qualify for funding? If so, when might it be added?

Sebastian7924 Aug 2015 14:34It is already reserved for you – you will receive the subsidy for it.
