ᐅ Connection of Patio Door, External Wall Insulation, Foundation

Hello everyone!
I cut out a small section of XPS because it was cracked and not sealed with any coating.

Now I want to replace that XPS with new material and seal it with a thick protective coating. Would this be a good solution? Later, porcelain tiles will be installed on top.
