Hello everyone,
I am considering connecting our future photovoltaic system with a hot water heat pump in the basement and also powering it with photovoltaic electricity. Both will be installed in a new build.
Now the question: what interfaces does the heat pump need to have, and what additional equipment will I need?

That’s clear. It’s mostly about controlling the heat pump. I would like to prioritize the heat pump over all other consumers. If the heat pump is "Smart Grid" capable, I have the following three control options:
1. Connect directly to the inverter
2. Use a smart meter

I’ll rephrase the question more clearly: what should I consider with these three solutions, and how do they differ in terms of control level? Links are welcome if this has already been answered somewhere. But wouldn’t it actually be the other way around? For heat pump systems, there are usually cheaper electricity tariffs. Therefore, I would operate the heat pump with photovoltaic power only after all other consumers have been supplied.
