Hello everyone,
we have two round columns in the living and dining area with a diameter of 16.5cm (6.5 inches) that I would like to cover smoothly and paint white. Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to do this? Or maybe some pictures showing how the base was finished on the floor with tiles, like in the example below?

Innenraum einer Baustelle: Mann mit Werkzeug, gelbe Eimer, hängende Kabel von der Decke.
Baustelle: Innenraum mit Gerüst, gelben Eimern, Baumaterialien, Blick nach draußen.

Not sure if this would be of interest to you, but try searching for Airslate Porcelanosa. These are very thin natural stone panels. We covered a wall in the living room with them. It is said that they can also be used to clad columns. They are glued using tile adhesive.
