ᐅ Smart ideas & nice-to-haves for the home

Hi everyone,

I couldn’t find a thread (or had trouble finding it with search terms) that gathers good ideas and clever solutions that "anyone" could use for house building.

My list currently includes:

Laundry chute
Basement ceiling height +1 block
Washing machine on a platform
Platform in showers for sitting
Water outlet in gutters
Power strip in the home gym to make relocating outlets easier

Of course, this is by no means everything to consider... I’m sure you can think of more.
And I understand that not everything fits every situation.
