ᐅ Cleaning a sofa

Hello,

my old sofa is now several years old and naturally doesn’t look very new anymore. A friend advised me to clean the sofa (microfiber) with carpet foam. What do you think about this? Do you know other cleaning methods?

I would first try the recommended products and wait to see the results. If it doesn’t work out, you can still have a new plaster applied. There are also special products available for this purpose.

I bought upholstery cleaner for my couch when it started to look worn, but even though I used a high-quality product, I felt that there was no visible improvement.
By now, I clean my sofa with our pressure washer. It works great.

Try first, just to be safe, a small area of the seat and see the result. In my experience, carpet foam works really well for this.
