Hello,
we are also in the process of building.
Currently, we are focusing on the cladding of the ceiling edges around the stairwell and the gallery.
We would like to have the ceiling edges plastered instead of using the usual wood cladding.
A question for the professionals: Is there anything to consider or any special precautions we should take during installation (we are not doing it ourselves)? Will this also remain crack-free in the long term?
Thank you very much for your answers.

It is the area of the raw concrete ceiling and the area of the screed that need to be covered. In that case, I would have extended the raw concrete ceiling up along the edge of the opening and also framed the screed (and possibly the floor covering as well, or if these are tiles, especially if they are the same as on the floor below, I would have incorporated them into the edge). How did you handle it with the stairwell opening?
