Hello, since the old shower hose was brittle and calcified, I wanted to replace it. However, I cannot fit the connector of the new hose through the angled holder of the showerhead because the connector gets stuck due to the angle. The connector of the new hose has the same dimensions as the old one. The connector of the old hose could only be removed from the angle with gentle force. I would appreciate any suggestions, including whom I could contact for help. Grohe stated that they are not the manufacturer and therefore cannot assist.

In that case, please post a picture and mention the manufacturer.

Best regards in brief

Hello, the fittings are Grohe. I’ll try to include some pictures.

Hello

The single-lever mixer is from Fr. Grohe.
The pull-out hose spray head seems to be a Hansgrohe Secuflex.

A smooth plastic hose would probably work better in this case.
The existing hose can at most be screwed through, as it basically has a threaded connection.

Hello, thank you very much for the responses. I simply bought a new hose with a round threaded fitting. It went through smoothly and works perfectly. Next, I will probably have to take apart the supply line.
