Hello!
I am currently looking for a carport.
I actually prefer not to use wood since our patio roof is also made of anthracite aluminum.
Several offers for double carports with storage rooms were over €25,000, which seemed too expensive for a first purchase, even though the quality was likely very good.
There are various online suppliers offering relatively simple aluminum carports with polycarbonate twin-wall roofing panels, for example under the name "Verona 5000." However, I’m concerned that these might be a bit too flimsy.
I’ve attached two pictures. One shows a roof connected to the house (the more expensive option) and the other one shows two separate single carports with an inexpensive corrugated metal shed as a bike/storage room.
Option 1 would be nice, but it would nearly use up our entire budget reserve for the house construction. I don’t think much will be left by the time the house is finished anyway. The driveway also needs to be done first, and the patio has priority over the carports.
Or maybe a wooden double carport? I’m not sure if that would suit the house.
Good luck

@EFHNI
We need 4 m (13 feet) in width and 6 m (20 feet) in length. 7 m (23 feet) wide without a central support beam is quite something—are you planning to fit three cars in there?
That goes beyond the usual standard; I’m not sure if they build something like that. Left-side openings are not preferred here, so I’ll send you the contacts via private message.
Best regards,
Andreas

No, only 2 cars are supposed to fit underneath.
Our current carport is 6m (20 feet) wide, which just about allows the doors to open partially on both sides when both cars are parked optimally. (One side is the house wall, the other side is the carport side wall.)
However, if you want to get through between the cars with a bicycle, for example, I find it quite tight.
At 7m (23 feet), it should be much more comfortable.
