Hello everyone,
I have installed cork flooring almost exclusively on the upper floor of my house and am very satisfied with it. However, over time the cork shows signs of wear from daily use. In some areas there are small dents or rough spots, and overall it looks a bit dull and lacks shine.
Could you please give me advice on how to restore the cork to good condition?
Ideally, I would like to smooth out or fill the dents, make the rough areas smooth again, and reseal the entire floor to bring back a nice gloss.
What is the best way to do this, and which products would you recommend?
Thank you

Small holes can be filled with products such as Colorfill or Novoryt hot melt putty. These products can be overpainted.
Depending on the manufacturer and product line, cork floors can be cleaned/sanded and refinished with a new layer of lacquer.
Please contact the manufacturer or installer to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and use the recommended products.
