I want to install a special type of flooring in my living room. Has anyone here ever tried cork? I find it very interesting but I'm not sure about the potential disadvantages of this kind of flooring. It needs to be more than just stylish. Maybe you could give me some tips on choosing the right floor covering. It can also be something completely different.

I also installed cork flooring in the living room, and it is really great. However, I think it has the drawback that it shows indentations in the surface where heavy furniture stands. With a carpet, you can usually get those marks out, but with cork, that does not seem to be possible.

Cork is very good for flooring because it feels warm underfoot and is easy to clean. We have small children, so it is especially beneficial since they spend a lot of time on the floor and won’t get cold. We have installed cork not only in the living room but also in the bathroom and the children’s room.
