We are planning a bungalow (approximately 140 m² (1507 ft²)) made from SIP panels.
Instead of a basement or concrete slab, it will be built on screw foundations.

Does anyone have experience with this type of construction?

We are especially interested in the structural engineering aspect.
Do we need a structural engineer for both the house design and the screw foundations?
Or does anyone have an alternative suggestion?

The savings on the shell construction, including delivery from Eastern Europe, compared to a solid timber frame, are roughly two-thirds.
