It’s been a while since I was last online here! We were able to move into our new build last year, although it came with quite a few problems. Well, anyway, we have settled in well, and many issues have been resolved and fixed.
Now to my question: We have a bay window on the house. According to the plans, this bay window should be covered with gravel. So far, the gravel has not been installed by the general contractor. He recently told me that he wouldn’t install the gravel because of moisture buildup?!
What do you think about this? Should the bay window ideally be covered with gravel? Or is it not that important?
Looking forward to your feedback! I couldn’t find anything on this online via search or Google.
Best regards,
Antonio2908

I don’t recall your house design exactly, but the thread title https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/wasser-in-geschlossenem-rohbau.42226/ makes this statement by the general contractor, well, let’s say, “humorous.”
