Hello!
Has anyone here ever built a house in Frechen-Königsdorf by any chance? I would like to connect and share experiences....

On the website, there is also a map under the section "Overview Map" showing how far the quartz pit might extend (until 2061), and what will be cleared in 2017.
The prevailing wind direction is from the southwest.

Or were you referring to possible health risks due to the loss of filtering effects against pollutant emissions? The expansion of the Frechen rest area on the highway is obviously problematic as well.

Caspar202020 Dec 2016 19:04The A4 is already quite noisy on its own. Occasionally, there is some "mist" today, especially during strong wind conditions. Experts say that it is not harmful to health (so no fine dust). However, it is not exactly pleasant.
In addition, due to the open-pit mining, the groundwater level needs to be managed.
Colleagues say (they live north of the railway line) that Königsdorf is a very nice place to live.
