Hello everyone,
I am currently planning the lighting for my bathroom and could really use your advice.
The mirror lighting is already decided, but now I need to consider whether to add recessed ceiling spotlights or a central ceiling light.
My questions:
  • Which option is more practical for providing even lighting in the bathroom?
  • Are there specific placements or tips you would recommend?
  • What should be considered when combining these with fixed mirror lighting?

I would really appreciate your experiences or suggestions!

Thank you in advance!

A dimmer also creates a cozy atmosphere.
Yes, with modern LEDs, you shouldn’t cut corners on the technology, otherwise you’ll get PWM flicker. Some people don’t consciously notice it, even though it has been proven to cause stress. The test: let a long pendulum swing. If the movement is smooth: no PWM. If the movement is jerky or even looks like a strobe effect: PWM. Unfortunately, this is often overlooked.
