Hello, I hope someone here can help me. I bought a used Malm bed (180 x 200 cm (71 x 79 inches)). Unfortunately, there was no assembly manual included. Most of the assembly was self-explanatory.
However, I am having trouble with the cross braces. According to the latest IKEA assembly instructions, the eyelets for these cross braces are directly attached to the metal plates on the headboard and footboard. In my model, this is not the case. Instead, I have two additional metal parts (one curved and one straight) with eyelets at their ends for the cross braces.
My question is: Where and how are these metal parts fixed?
Does anyone perhaps have an older assembly manual?
