I am currently planning to assemble my new Ikea Hemnes dresser and wanted to ask if anyone in this forum has encountered any specific issues or tricky parts during the assembly that are definitely good to know about? I am particularly interested in whether there are any known fit problems with the components, special notes regarding the screws, or potential pitfalls in the instructions. It would also be helpful to know if additional tools are needed beyond what is normally included in the set, or any tips on how to make the assembly efficient and sturdy.

To prevent this, you should do a trial assembly of the parts before final installation. This allows you to spot any small inaccuracies right away and correct them if necessary with fine sandpaper.
Regarding the screws: they vary in length, and in some cases mixing them up accidentally can cause problems, so please check carefully and do not confuse them.
