Hello,
according to the Gira catalog, the room thermostats 0392 03 from the standard range cost €60 (about $65). Online, there are suppliers offering them for €50 (about $55).
For an entire house, that is quite expensive. Since the thermostats will probably only need to be set once and don’t require many additional functions, I wonder if there are other brands that are reliable but significantly cheaper.
A basic requirement is that the thermostats must be compatible with the GIRA “Standard 55” system so that I can install them in the appropriate GIRA frames.
Has anyone already searched for alternatives or had experience with this?
So far, I have only found the “Halmburger room thermostat for GIRA Standard 55 and E2 frames” priced at €40 (about $43). The reviews for this product are mostly positive, but online reviews have not been verified yet. Perhaps someone here can share their opinion?
Or do you think it is better to invest in the original Gira thermostats, as they might last longer and be a better choice for the future?
Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the thread. You might realize that you don’t actually need one.

I have also set up my heating so that now I only have individual room control active in the guest room.

Good point, but
we have heating circuit distributors on each floor that allow individual control of every room.
At the heating unit itself, I cannot configure each room separately.
I would like to be able to treat different rooms individually.
Besides, the electrical wiring is already installed; only the switches and inserts are missing.
