We are planning to build next year and have already had initial planning meetings with our construction company. Now we have reached the topic of heating and simply cannot decide. Our options are an air source heat pump or a solar thermal system combined with a condensing boiler.
Is it possible to generally say that one option is “better” than the other or has more advantages? With the air source heat pump, we are concerned that in addition to heating costs, electricity costs will also increase significantly in the coming years.
By the way, this is a new build with 135sqm (1453 sq ft) plus a basement (KfW 70 standard).
Have any of you installed one of these systems and can share some tips and opinions?
