ᐅ Additional Costs for Electrical Outlets and Network Connections

Hello everyone,

we are buying a 4-room apartment with 110 m² (1,184 sq ft) from a developer and naturally want to increase the number of standard electrical outlets (who can manage with the usual amount anyway?!).
The electrician’s quote is still pending, but I would like to get some rough price estimates for comparison.
What might an additional double electrical outlet (branded, but without gold plating) including some wiring and installation typically cost?

I also have no idea about a star topology network wiring (Cat7) with five outlets (Cat6a) converging in the utility room. Of course, it depends on cable length, but the apartment isn’t huge...

I would appreciate any estimates or insights.

If it is a genuine developer, they are also the client and can therefore set the rules, such as extras only through them. They hand over a finished house to me, I pay, and I am the buyer.
However, if I am the client and therefore the principal, I can order additional sockets wherever I want. If necessary, I can even install them myself. As a client, none of us should accept contracts that prohibit such things. Likewise, none of us should accept contracts that forbid access to the construction site or require prior notification or similar. It is our land, our house, paid for in installments. What I have paid for belongs to me. Karsten

Even though they set the rules, there are genuine developers who are fair with additional requests, do not charge exorbitant prices for upgrades, and with whom you can settle everything directly with the contractors. We can also visit the construction site at any time and, of course, we do so... You should not generalize building with a developer any more than the other models...

The original poster is dealing with a real developer.
They are buying, among other things, a condominium unit.

Of course, you can't generalize; but at least for the developer projects in our nearby area, things are really moving fast.

It already starts with the fact that practically the very last remaining plots are being successfully marketed. Next to the terrace there is a main road at the edge of town; at the end of the terraces, there is a gas station with 24-hour operation, separated only by a metal fence.

The price for an apartment was around 275,000 to 300,000 (275,000-3xx,000).
(This town has just under 30,000 inhabitants)

I’m just going to join this topic now since I’m dealing with exactly the same issue.

My electrician wants €30 net per network double socket and per single power outlet (Gira System 55), all-inclusive. It seemed a bit high to me “for just a bit of plastic,” but apparently I’m not far off the ideal price when I read through the earlier comments...

For each meter of network cable, there is an additional cost of €2.80 for the cable and €5.60 for the conduit (also net prices including installation).

The electrical outlet cost us 24€ all in all.

Our general contractor (GC) offer: €94 per power outlet. A total of 34 outlets installed throughout the house included.

Apart from plumbing, this was the main reason we moved away from the GC. We have now planned 170 power outlets and 28 LAN connections. That would have been very expensive for us.
