Andreas T16 Mar 2024 01:32Hello, I moved into my Hanse Haus in October 2023. It’s a bungalow without a basement. All rooms—except the bathroom and guest toilet—are fitted with Kronoflooring Klickvinyl H2O. Underneath is impact sound insulation. All rooms are separated by expansion joints, and the large living area is separated from the kitchen with an additional joint.
Our big problem: the floor makes loud crunching noises in several places, as if large grains of sand are being crushed. For example, you can hear it in the living room when someone is walking in the hallway, or in the bedroom when I come out of the bathroom. It’s really annoying.
What could be the causes? Hanse Haus has been quite reserved about this. What would be the next steps to increase pressure on them?

It sounds like the area was not properly cleaned before installation, and now you have sand, grains, or similar particles between the insulation and the vinyl. The only solution is to remove it completely and clean it thoroughly before reinstalling.

After several months of delay, other defects were also addressed. Our seller helped us to achieve this. We don’t want to be so patient with the floor – it’s extremely frustrating.W
