ᐅ Why does the compressor of the air-to-water heat pump keep running despite the solar thermal system reaching 140°C?

I recently installed an air-to-water heat pump combined with solar thermal panels.

I have noticed several times that hot water was produced by the heat pump’s compressor instead of by the solar thermal system, even though 140°C (284°F) is shown in the solar panels. It is a Buderus system. Does anyone have experience with this?

Excuse me? 140°C (284°F)? Are the units not connected properly, or is the pump not running? Something is seriously wrong here. Whoever installed this should fix it promptly.

At those temperatures, solar thermal panels can be damaged very quickly.
