Hello,
My wife wants a garden shower because we now have a hot tub and will soon have a sauna.
She definitely wants a warm water shower but is unsure because we would then need a water heater. Outside we only have cold water; connecting hot water wouldn’t be possible.
Alternatively, a solar shower could store warm water for a while.
Does anyone have a garden shower and use it often??

Well, but the boiler is on all the time, right? From a system perspective, that would generally be inefficient, since the shower is used only very occasionally. A tankless system would be smarter; in my opinion, these are also available with a gas cylinder for outdoor use if there is no (sufficient) electrical connection available.

A more practical solution would be a continuous flow system, which I believe is also available with a gas cylinder for outdoor use if there is no (sufficient) electrical connection available. Tell me more.
A gas cylinder attached to the shower? Well ... I don’t really want to have gas connected there...

The gas cylinder is hanging by the shower? Well... I really don’t want gas to be there... You’re not supposed to hang the cylinder on the shower’s water supply line; sure, it will get warm, but then the lady will urgently need to visit the hairdresser.
There are gas-powered tankless water heaters. Just try searching online.

How often "one" uses an outdoor shower is an amusing question. Who is this "one"? In combination with an outdoor sauna, the shower is likely used every time after a sauna session. In combination with just a hot tub, usage is less frequent. It's a matter of personal preference.
