Hello everyone,
We are building a semi-detached house in Lower Bavaria this year. Currently, we are working on the lighting design, which we want to implement partly with KNX. However, we are still unsure which system to choose (DALI & DMX or REG-LED controller).
We have created an initial draft and would like to hear/read your opinions...
What could be improved here? Which system would you recommend for the lighting? The spotlights in the kitchen and bathroom are Dim2Warm, and for the rest, we would like to use LED RGBW(W).
We look forward to your suggestions for improvement.
Best regards

Green dot with "PIR" is a motion sensor. Circle with a cross are, as always, lights. The rest is explained in the legend. Thanks, then I'm out of here... You guys got this [emoji6]

The occupancy sensor in the living room will probably not work satisfactorily. You should consider installing two in the hallway, one at the front and one at the back. I can completely agree with that. The occupancy sensor in the living room doesn’t work well for controlling the lights. I haven’t found a satisfactory setup for that. So the lighting there is controlled by scenes instead. The sensor is now used as part of the alarm system.
The same goes for the sensor in the hallway. I installed only one at the front, and when we come from the living room, it’s always a bit dark until the light turns on. [emoji16] Learned something new there, but I’m still working on a solution—maybe occupancy sensors connected via LAN/Wi-Fi or something like that [emoji6].

KNX-RF or another wireless system for building automationI haven’t dealt with KNX-RF so far, but don’t I need a line coupler (200 euros) and also the occupancy sensor (maybe 100 euros)? Altogether that would be quite expensive if I don’t use KNX-RF elsewhere.
