Hello,

We would like to install pleated blinds on some of our windows for privacy. In total, it concerns about 12 window sashes of various sizes. We have received two quotes for pleated blinds from Büscher. For an average window sash (90 x 110 cm (35 x 43 inches)), the pleated blinds cost around 110 euros plus 15 euros for installation (screwed into the frame) net, so approximately 150 euros gross. Is this the normal market price?

We ordered various sizes online.
Not from Amazon, but from a specialized store where you can configure the pleated blinds according to your preferences and also order fabric samples as you like.
When ordering, provide the measurements for length and width (to the nearest millimeter) and install them yourself, it’s really not complicated.
The price per pleated blind is between 50 and 70 euros (for a wide range of window sizes).

Hello!

Have you decided yet?
We are currently looking for suitable pleated blinds as well. Unfortunately, there is no specialist retailer in our community, and the furniture stores don’t have any attractive fabric options either.

That’s why we are considering having our pleated blinds custom-made online.
Since we plan to install them ourselves, we can save a few dollars that way.
(Every penny counts, especially for young parents.)

Wishing you a nice (hopefully shady) afternoon!
Best regards

So, we have now ordered the ones from Büscher. They will be installed shortly. We are paying just under 2,000 euros for 14 panels with a mid-range fabric group, I believe it’s called PG2. I can take some photos once it’s finished.

I wouldn’t cut corners here. You look at it dozens of times every day.

When I look at windows around me from the outside, the pleated blinds are always crooked... everywhere. Always somehow crooked. At the bottom or top or both. That’s why I don’t have any yet. Is that generally the case? Or does it depend on the price? I can’t imagine... it must be because people just slide them unevenly, right? Whether cheap or expensive????!

Can anyone here tell me?

That’s just because it’s being pushed at an angle, right?

In my experience, yes, that’s the case. It could probably be avoided by using guide rails.

I look at the pleated blinds, four of them, all crooked. I say, Hey, they’re all crooked. She asks, What’s crooked? I say, Well, those things over there. She replies, Be quiet, I want to watch the movie.

Conclusion. They are just crooked. After all, God loves crooked things. Karsten
