Hello everyone,
for our construction project, we have now decided on geothermal energy, and we have received two offers.
The first company uses refrigerants, and the second uses water.

What experiences do you have with both? Which system would you recommend?

Both offers are attached

Should the two quotes cover the same scope? And then be comparable as well?

I honestly can’t understand it.

Both are for the same house, so what is unclear?

I called company 2 again yesterday; they said that 150m2 (1615 sq ft) of collectors are not enough for 130m2 (1400 sq ft).

In one case, I read something about ground source heat collectors, but in the other, this is completely missing.

On the other hand, one has underfloor heating, the other does not.

Response from the company regarding the underfloor heating is that it should have the smooth pipe heat exchanger. I understand this to mean that the ground collectors are included in the heat pump (see point 1).
