Hello everyone,

A few weeks ago, we visited a new housing development where we saw this tree at the entrance area.
Can anyone tell us what type of tree this is?

Also, we would like to know how winter-hardy it is, as it seems to have survived this cold winter without any damage. 🙂

I find these types of front yards very artificial, inhospitable, and bleak. Unfortunately, it seems to be a trend.

I don’t like it either. It looks like a plastic tree in a lunar landscape. The tree has hardly anything to do with nature.

It’s good that tastes differ.
I think the trees are awesome, but unfortunately, they are extremely expensive.
Some advantages compared to an apple tree, for example:
– no leaves
– no pests
– no fallen fruit

How much does something like that cost?

At some point, you have to wonder what actually makes a tree a tree 😀

Coniferous trees generally do not have leaves...
