What should be considered when positioning it? Should it be placed where everyone can see it clearly (although thieves might damage it beforehand)? Or rather discreetly, but still visible in case of an alarm? Does just the visibility of a siren have a deterrent effect? What do you recommend? Best regards, Steffi33.

Hello building expert,

I assume I am still allowed to express my disbelief and explain my reasons; that was all I intended to do. I certainly did not mean to accuse anyone. If anyone feels offended, I am sorry; that was not my intention.

I’m sure @Doc.Schnaggls will comment on this, but I think it’s a good start!

No, I don’t feel offended at all – I’m just wondering on what basis you take the right to accuse me of lying.

That is all you have done with your posts.

It also fits my impression of you that in post #19 you only addressed Bauexperte.

I was taught that disagreements should be resolved directly with those involved – that would be a sign of maturity or decency.

I have expressed my opinion. It does not have to agree with yours. I would never accuse you of lying, simply because I assume that your account is just one possible interpretation of the situation. After all, you were not present when the break-in attempt took place.

@Knallkörper:

Clearly, I was just interpreting that part of the tool used was still stuck between the window sash and the frame.

It’s possible that it was placed there by unrelated third parties for a completely different purpose.

Tell me, don’t you realize how incredibly ridiculous your arguments sound?

Anyway, I’m out now – I don’t want to waste my time on a discussion at this level.

Enjoy your infallible opinion.

Sorry, but you just added that part of the story.
