Hello,
our roofer installed the transition between the dormer and the roof tiles yesterday. Honestly, it looks quite poor and doesn’t match the rest of the house at all. In the photo, it still looks somewhat harmless, but in reality it’s really overwhelming. If you have dormer windows: how was this handled in your case? We are currently looking for an alternative solution, but so far, while driving through new residential areas, I haven’t seen anything "nicer"...

What makes you think your roofer will still change that?
BauexperteIt bothers us so much that we would be willing to pay for a change as well

What’s the problem there? Nobody looks at it once the house is finished anyway!
The aluminum strip, the protruding screws, the quite wide black adhesive tape… It can’t be that no one has come up with a “nicer” solution for this yet?
There is a cover that can be clipped onto the rail.
I find the technical solution without a cover more attractive, but… to each their own.
