Hello dear building forum members,
I chose the "Current Topics" section because my question doesn’t fit anywhere else.

For the topping-out ceremony, the developer is organizing a quiz with the request:
please bring the well-known "house bearer" (what could that be?)
Whoever brings the correct "house bearer" wins!!!!
I would like to be that person, so here is my question to you: does anyone know what this term means?

Best regards from Peter.

The developer is always the one who pays in the end on large projects; maybe you should bring the homeowner along 🙄.

Markus, they’re already here! No, no, Helin is the closest. The site foreman asked all the tradespeople, but no one gave a logical answer.
He’s guessing it’s the “beer carrier,” a six-pack.
Best regards from Peter.

Hello Peter,

please make sure to let me know when the time comes. 😉

If the case of beer was the wrong one, you can always enjoy it yourself as a consolation prize.

Best regards
Helin

Hello everyone,
I completely forgot, HOUSE CARRIER = screw conveyor!!!
Well, it was a trick question, none of those present figured it out.
But it was funny.
