Good evening!

Today, while struggling again with cleaning the grill grate using our far too small utility sink in the utility room, this got added to the list for the new build:

A stainless steel utility sink with an interior surface of at least 500 x 400 millimeters (20 x 16 inches), preferably 600 x 400 millimeters (24 x 16 inches).

Apparently, those don’t seem to exist... I just searched thoroughly. It’s either huge sinks that need to be installed in a base cabinet or wall-mounted sinks, but those seem to max out at about 400 x 320 millimeters (16 x 13 inches). You can’t fit anything in those!

So, has anyone seen a stainless steel utility sink with decent dimensions anywhere? Appearance doesn’t matter, it just needs to be a wall-mounted stainless steel sink, and _large_.

Thanks and best regards,

Andreas

I had thought the same, that I should do it better… after I scrubbed the grill grate following the topping-out ceremony.

Just build a proper fire underneath, then you won’t even need a sink. After that, everything will be burned anyway.

Leave it lying in the grass overnight ...

Search in the gastronomy section!

Well, then you haven’t really searched – I just found a 700 mm (28 inch) sink from Franke on Google in 5 seconds, just a wall-mounted one without a supporting base...
