ᐅ Your opinion/experience on comfortable roof overhangs

Hello,

the house company has asked us if we want so-called comfort roof overhangs. With this solution, the roof overhangs are about 50cm (20 inches) longer on all sides. Cost: approximately 1400 euros.

The salesperson goes back and forth: does this actually make a difference in practice? Are the exterior walls somewhat better protected? Visually, it doesn’t look better or worse. Your opinions/experiences?

if you are not really impressed by the appearance, I would save the money. I don’t see any necessity for increased comfort or façade protection.
