Hello, I want to paint our house with a protective glaze cream from Aidol. The problem is that the old part of the house is already 10 years old, so the wood looks accordingly aged, while the newly added section is still in perfect condition. However, I don’t want to see any difference after applying the glaze. Does anyone have experience with this?

Matching reclaimed wood and new wood so that no difference can be noticed is hardly achievable. An approximation can be made if the craftsman has the necessary eye and sensitivity for tuning such work.
These tasks can hardly be accomplished with standard transparent stains; instead, the colors need to be mixed and adjusted on site.
