What buffer temperatures would you run our system at?
Attached are some details.
Pellet boiler 25 kW, buffer tank 1000 L (265 gallons), domestic hot water (setpoint 60°C (140°F), circulation 55°C (131°F)), solar thermal system
Multi-family house KfW 70 standard
Underfloor heating (flow temperature currently about 36°C (97°F) at 0°C (32°F) outside temperature, temperature difference approximately 5-6°C (9-11°F))
Multi-generation house (3 families, 6 adults, 3 children)
How would you set the upper and lower buffer temperature sensors?
Important note: the upper sensor was moved one step lower to increase the stratified tank volume available for domestic hot water.
