ᐅ Why Are the LED Lights Flashing in a New Build?

Hello,

I have switched to LED lamps in our new build. Now I noticed that some of them flicker, while others glow very dimly even when the switch is OFF.
Is there anything that can be done about this?
Above all, is this normal in a NEW BUILD?

Thank you in advance...

In two-way and intermediate switch circuits, the lamp conductor runs parallel to the live conductor in the cable. This causes voltage to be induced in the lamp conductor (when the switch is off). This small voltage/power is enough to make the LED flicker or glow dimly. Branded light bulbs have a built-in component that prevents this.

However, this also happens with a regular light, meaning a lamp with a standard switch.

Hello,

that makes sense. With the branded lights, there was no problem, just as with the original halogen spotlights. Meanwhile, I have also tried Chinese SMD LEDs – they don’t flicker either.
