Hey,

can anyone give a recommendation regarding my question? Is there something specific to watch out for?

There are different widths available. Should it not be wider than the outer edge of the pool, or is it okay if it slightly extends beyond the pool’s side edge? The seat should also not be too expensive.

Thanks for the feedback!

I don’t understand what you mean.
Do you want to retrofit a toilet seat?
– one that closes slowly?

Exactly, glasses with a lid that slowly closes down.

Okay, the universal models work just as well – they are suitable for older toilets (my parents retrofitted theirs, and somehow they fit the shape). Overall, there isn’t a big concept behind these lids – if aesthetics matter, choose one that matches the bowl, so the same manufacturer. However, with the oval design, every bowl finds its lid.

For example, I’m wondering if the frame should be flush with the edge or if it can also have an overhang?

Isn't there a seat and lid that fits your model? For us, the choice was clear—there was exactly one from the manufacturer that matched the toilet. You can order them separately, but I don’t see the point (except maybe as a replacement at some point).
