ᐅ Which PoE switch with 16 or 24 ports would you recommend?

Hello everyone,
I have another question and hope to get a very good recommendation.

My Elli insisted on installing a 10" cabinet with more than 16 LAN ports. All well and good, but this significantly limits the options for finding the right PoE switch. Apparently, at least two switches will be needed.
Of course, I could dismantle everything, but I am pressed for time. That’s why I need solutions.

I have already searched online and narrowed it down to two models from TP-LINK and D-LINK.

I would gladly hear your recommendations, regardless of these two models.

Convert to 19” rackmount and buy a Netgear JGS524PE. You’ll be happy!

This device has been running perfectly for months here and it has everything you need, in my opinion.

Here is a picture of a 10-inch cabinet with a Zyxel GS190024E, a 24-port switch from the big A, costing around 100€.

Server rack with patch panel, yellow network cable, white power cables, and power strip.

CAT7 cabling has been installed throughout. Regarding the switch, the Zyxel is a good option. Does it get very warm?

@lin0r87

The Zyxel is placed on an upside-down shelf panel and fits there with millimeter precision. Regarding heat, I can tell you later, otherwise I would have to go downstairs now.

The Zyxel does not have PoE, and for two or three devices that require it, I would prefer to get a separate multiport injector. But of course, that’s a matter of personal preference.

Correct, but since there was only one AP available, the injector worked as shown.
