Hello everyone, a few weeks ago I bought some Platsa modules from Ikea and have used them regularly since. I noticed that some screws and fasteners have become loose or even damaged in some cases. I would now like to proactively get repair kits that are perfectly suited for these furniture pieces – especially those that ensure assembly security and stability.
The main question is: which repair kits are suitable for Ikea PLATSA?
I am particularly interested in whether Ikea itself offers repair sets or if there are also recommended third-party suppliers that provide high-quality options. It would also be helpful if someone could share tips on how to properly use these kits, for example, which types of screws or fasteners should definitely be included, or if any special tools are required.

A tip from me: whenever possible, use original cam-lock fasteners and avoid cheap replacements. They simply last longer and ensure your furniture stays secure even after multiple repairs.
Also, regularly tightening the screws and fasteners helps a lot – I started doing this with my cabinet some time ago, and since then everything has held up perfectly! Good luck with your repairs! 🙂
