ᐅ Which LED recessed downlights are best to buy for the ceiling?

We now need to gradually decide on recessed downlights for our concrete ceiling. The empty housings were embedded directly into the precast concrete slab, and the size of the fixtures is relatively flexible. It should be LED.

What would be a good size for the hallway, kitchen, dining room, and living room? How many lumens should such recessed downlights provide? Is it acceptable to go for cheaper products here, or is it worth investing in branded items (if branded, which manufacturers would you recommend)?
