Hello everyone, I am currently facing an issue with assembling my new Ikea Brimnes wardrobe, as some parts are missing and others are damaged. Specifically, the wardrobe doors and some fittings were either not delivered or were visibly defective right out of the packaging. My question is: What is the best way to proceed in such a case to obtain replacement parts or damaged components quickly and easily? Are there specific contact points or steps that Ikea recommends, and what has been your experience with their customer service in these situations? I want to avoid unnecessary delays or even failure in completing the assembly. Thanks in advance for your tips and advice!

I can personally confirm that Ikea’s customer service is very friendly and helpful when it comes to missing or damaged parts of the Brimnes series. It is important to be as precise as possible by providing the item numbers and detailed information about the damage or missing part. This will help ensure you receive the correct replacement parts more quickly.

If you contact them by phone, take your time to have the numbers ready and explain the situation clearly. This helps avoid misunderstandings or delays.

As a small tip: when you pick up or receive the package, open it on-site or shortly after and check the parts carefully. This allows you to respond quickly if there are any issues.

If the replacement parts are not immediately available, you will at least get an estimate of when to expect the shipment.
